Thank You, Baby Sis=)

WHATS UP!!!!! First, I will like to thank you for actually showing interest in my blogs. This is new for me and I enjoy sharing helpful details to all for natural hair. I encourage every african american, african, or any others with that coarse texture hair TO GO NATURAL!!!!!

Today I will be displaying some of my little sister skills on braiding my hair. She is in high school and she is taking cosmetology classes, so she uses my head as a "dummy" hahahahahaha=) If my hair was still relaxed, I wouldn't let her play in my hair because I wasn't comfortable with people playing in my hair because the chemicals weaken my hair and I didn't want my hair to fall out. (Don't get it twisted, I had long beautiful hair; it was just relaxed). Now that i'm #TeamNatural, I felt comfortable with her braiding my hair into styles. My sis braided my hair into 3 different styles!!!

Style #1 FRO-HAWK=)

Day 6 (I put it in a pony tail)

Style #2 Braid Up-DO pin=)

Before she did my hair this time, I washed my hair and I blowed dried my hair. This was the first time my hair had ANY heat put to it since February (THAT'S 8 MONTHS!!!!!) I don't think my hair adjusted to it well; because when she braided my hair, it had a "frizzy" look. I will be going back to my air dries=)

Washed and after I blowed dried my hair.

Day 1 (If you look closely at the braids, you can see the frizziness; but I was still fly=)

Day 2 -I wore a hat the next day to school because I ony had one class (I decided to use rollers in the top of my head so that I get a Janelle Monae bun in the top of my head)

WELL YOU GUYSSSSSSSSSSSSS, IT WAS AN..........

Sooooooooooooooooooo nowwww I had my sis to do an emergency hair do, because I did not like how it turned out.

Style #3 Braided up on one side and twist out on the other side=) She damped my hair with a spray bottle to avoid the "frizzy" look this time!!!

After she finished

The next day=)

I CURRENTLY HAVE THIS HAIR-DO IN MY HEAD=)

My "Blah Blah" day

What's up, everybody!!!!! Today have been a lazy day; I woke up at 8:03 and guess what time my class starts?!?!?!?! 8 O'CLOCK!!!!! Thank God this was my first day of missing my class. I woke up and I was like "What am I going to wear? What am I going to do with my hair?". I had to rush and put something together but some how on my lazy days I always put things together that others like. So, this will be a short detailed blog about my hair, outfit and accessories. Hope you all enjoy=)

A long sleeve red shirt, it's a simple shirt that you can get at a cheap price. I brought mine from wally world (Wal-Mart). I rolled up my sleeves to give it a bit of some style.

I added a old jean vest over my shirt, I pressed my pockets up with the iron to give it some "edge" look. I'm not sure where I got it from but it was probably from the thrift store (Yes, I go thrift store shopping)

I wore pinstriped "Hammer-Time" pants (one of my favorite pair of pants). I love the style of these pants because they are baggy in the pants and crouch area. The material of these pants are awesome too, which is 95% polyester and 5% spandex.

My footwear is my black combat boots that I love dearly. I folded them down because I felt like them being up would take away from my outfits.

My accessories were some red pearl-like studs, a black zigzag industrial bar, my geek glasses, and a pinstripe headband/bow.

My hair is braided on the sides into a frohawk, but I have BIG, HUGE hair. When I don't pin it up with bobby pins, you can't see my braids. I took bobby pins and pin the front of my hair up and put my pinstripe headband/bow on.

My completed look on a "Blah Blah" day=)

Twist-Out Transaction

What's up everyone!!! It's Lady Q here to talk about my FAVORITE natural hair style. It's easy, quick, and I can help you learn how to manage it for approximately 2 weeks!!! I wore my Twist out for 12 days (I could have went longer). I twisted my hair on September 10th (the night before my birthday) so I can look cute, which is September 11th (All Virgos and September babies Stand Up!!! =) I ended my twist-out transaction on September 21st.

LET'S GET STARTED WITH DETAILS.

Night of doing my twist-out 9/10/13=)

My 20th Birthday 9/11/13 !!!!!!!!!! (I took my twist out and pinned my hair on the side with bobby pins)

Retwisted my hair that night!!!

Wore my Twist with some stylish shades and beautiful BIG earrings 9/12/13=)

This is my chill day 9/13/12!!!

This was also a chill day (I look rough lol) Pinned on the side with a bobby pin 9/14/12=)

Church day 9/15/12 Pinned on the side with a bobby pin and I rocked it with BIG dangling earrings=)

Put a scarf on and rocked my twist to the side with my Geek glasses 9/16/13=)

Took my twist out 9/17/13=) (I took so many pics this day so I had to do a little mini slide show!!!

Re-twisted my hair in BIG, CHUNKY twist and put moisturizer on my hair. Sometimes I might spray oil sheen on my hair the next day (every night from then on)

Second day of my twist-out 9/18/13!!!

Third day of my twist out 9/19/13=)

Fourth day of my twist out 9/20/13=)

Fifth and Final day of my twist out 9/21/13

(Would have wore it longer, but I partied hard that night and didn't retwisted my hair before I went to bed=(

Hope this blog can teach you how to maintain a twist out. Once you get used to doing twist outs in your hair, the timing of you doing it will minimize. It used to take me about 45 minutes to twist my hair, but I became such a pro at it and it only takes me 15 to 20 mins!!!

This is not in the correct order but I still love this pic=)

HAVE A GOOD DAY=)
